Feminism isn’t about making women stronger. Women are already strong. It’s about changing the way the world perceives that strength.            -G.D. Anderson

Successful women still have their feet on the ground, they just have better Shoes.       -Oprah Winfrey

Women are undoubtedly the backbone of any society. Doting daughters, caring mothers, competent colleagues and a wide range of many other roles are played by women around us flawlessly and with grace. With everything that is currently going on in the world and our society, I think it’s important for us to continue to empower and motivate one another. Let us stand together and spread love and kindness. Let us have compassion and understanding, we are all in this together. We share a strong bond that can never be broken.

ArtKriti conducted an initiative ‘Shoe-Tale’, where they invited Images of one’s  favourite lady’s/women’s shoes. The theme of this initiative was ‘Women Empowerment’. They also invited selected artists to paint a shoe for this initiative.

It was a pleasure to receive many images from all over the world. The images and shoes specially painted for this narrative have been converted into an installation for public viewing, which is also interactive and involves the viewers.

Our idea is of involving all, not just one , is to ensure its not a key hole view point, and it was amazing to see the different views and emotions of different people, on the same topic.

The different views, and all so beautifully conveyed, this all shows how we are moving in the right direction , that times are changing and we all must get together , work together towards a new world, where all are equal and all are responsible equally in making a new, peaceful, powerful, and ideal world.

The wonderful creations on the shoes were received with thanks from the following :-
